From September 13-18, 2009, thirteen international scholars participated in the International Writing Symposium “Writing for Journal Publication” on Aegina, Greece.
Output:
The symposium was designed to help them finalize an article for publication in an international journal of their choice (English language). They reached this goal by working closely together with one of three writing coaches over the five day period of the symposium. In between sessions with individual writing coaching, they got inspiration from short and focused workshops and lectures that helped them center their attention on the most important issues of writing for journal publication. They also attended peer-review sessions together with the other participants, where they gave and got peer feedback on their writing. All was arranged to help them become better writers, and to finalize their own journal articles.
