LIHE ‘09 – Improving Students’ Learning Outcomes
From May 31-June 4, 2009, LIHE held its 2nd international symposium on the island of Aegina in Greece. 22 researchers from four continents of the world met to finish the writing of the anthology “Improving Students’ Learning Outcomes” which had been ignited with the symposium call 8 months earlier. Before the symposium was a phase of double blind abstract reviews, and another phase of double blind chapter reviews. These review processes led to the choice of 17 chapters for the anthology. These 17 chapters were reviewed by two peers and the three editors of the anthology – May 2009 – before all authors met at the symposium to collaboratively work on finishing the manuscript. Following the symposium itself was a third review phase – June 2009 – where all final chapters were reviewed by the editors and professionally proofread. The anthology will be issued by COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL PRESS in August 2009.
